The Statue of Liberty is a statue located in New York City. It was offered by France for the centenary of the independence of the United States and inaugurated by President Grover Cleveland on October 28, 1886. It was created in Paris by the sculptor Auguste Bartholdi. The metal frame of the building was designed by the engineer Gustave Eiffel. It measures 92 metres
